What is Reiki? Reiki is a gentle, non-invasive energy therapy that supports the body's natural ability to restore balance and wellbeing.
It works by helping to calm the nervous system, allowing your body and mind to move into a more relaxed, restorative state. Many people experience a sense of deep relaxation during a session, along with a feeling of being more grounded and at ease.
Reiki can be received either in person or at a distance, making it a flexible and accessible form of support.
How can reiki help? Reiki is not a replacement for medical treatments, but it can be a supportive therapy alongside it. It may help with:
Stress and anxiety, feeling overwhelmed or emotionally drained, sleep difficulties, low mood or lack of energy. hormonal imbalance and life transitions, a general sense of feeling 'out of balance'.

What happens during a session? During an in-person session, you will remain fully clothed and lie comfortably on a treatment couch. We will discuss the session and any specific intentions which you may wish to set. Once lay on the couch, we will do some grounding meditation. Gentle hand placements are used just above your body to transmit the energy and balance your chakras.
For distance reiki sessions, you simply rest in a quiet comfortable space at the agreed time.
In both cases, the intention is the same - to support relaxation, balance and overal wellbeing. We can also specifically set intentions should you wish
My approach to reiki is calm, grounded and supportive. Sessions are tailored to you and what you need on the day, whether that's relaxation, emotional support or simply time to pase and reset
Reiki offers a space to slow down, reconnect and gently restore balance, both physically and emotionally.
