How does the menopause make you feel?

If I were to ask you to write a single word on a piece of paper to capture how menopause makes you feel, what would that word be?
I was posed the same question at an EFT (Tapping) event, and my response was GRIEF.
The reason for this is that I feel as though I have lost someone—specifically, myself. Who am I? What do I want from life? As I write this at the age of 56, I believe I am in the perimenopausal stage, experiencing a multitude of symptoms, much like you may be. To be completely honest, I find myself questioning my identity.
Can you recall the last time you had a genuine, hearty laugh? I certainly can't, and that realisation makes me quite sad.
Now, I pose the same question to you: what would your word be? Please share the first word that comes to mind in the comments below; I would love to hear from you.
